Some of them even gave her transport fare since she refused their offer and by the time she got back to school, she had N30,000 on her including the money her parent gave her.

On getting back to school she was baffled by the attention she gets from men on that day, and decided to narrate the story to her friend, Adaobi. After telling the story she asked Yinka if she use any of her cosmetics when she was about to go out, Yinka was surprised about the question and said yes.

Adaobi flared up and started accusing Yinka of spoiling her charm in her powder and insisted that Yinka follow her to the herbalist place who gave her the charm, so that he could avert the great consequence of her action. Initially, Yinka refused to follow her as it is against her religious beliefs. She pleaded with Adaobi to take all the money, but all to no avail.

Yinka left the room and went to one of her other friend̢۪s room to narrate the story to her, Wunmi, later advised her not to follow Adaobi anywhere, as it could be a set-up. She told Yinka to vacate her room and move in with her so that she can be safe.
